Episode 2: Bill Wich - Spiritual Awakening, Men’s Work, Healing in Prisons, and The Omega Point Program
Angel. Bill describes the entity he encountered during his spiritual awakening that transformed his life's trajectory as appearing like the misty fog in this painting
“… I don’t know what I am. I know that I am not a category. I am not a thing — a noun. I seem to be a verb, an evolutionary process - an integral function of the universe.” - Buckminster Fuller

Show Notes

For the first Museum of Self podcast episode I was joined by Bill Wich. I learned a ton about what a life could look like if committed to serving & healing.

I chose to connect with Bill because of the decades he’s spent make sense of spirituality and facilitating healing. Bill has over 30 years of experience designing and leading self development programs, having become a full leader and facilitator in the largest men’s work organization, known as the ManKind Project, and he also helped get the mentorship nonprofit Boys to Men off the ground, as well as initiated a number of other impactful trainings. He’s shared and facilitated this work not only with everyday folks interested in their own healing, but also in a very unlikely space for healing to happen - prisons. We begin this episode by getting to know Bill, hearing how claiming and expressing his sexual orientation lead to the major event that transformed his life’s trajectory towards spirituality and healing, as well as what it was like doing healing work inside prisons. We also explore and even get into a live demo of his latest self development training, the Omega Point Program, which weaves together the best aspects from his vast experience with healing.
